Meeting Catalogue

Over the course of the project, the members of Team 25 met numerous times in order to perfect the design and discuss the logistics of the DreamCatcher. A summary of the meetings is as follows:

January 23rd, 2019:

The team decided it would be beneficial to discuss each member's individual ideas for potential designs for wearable devices. Each team member brought their individual drawings from Milestone 1 and explained what their devices did so that everyone had a general idea of what each group member was bringing forward before heading into Milestone 2.

January 30th, 2019:

The team decided it was imperative to meet and delegate tasks to be completed before the design review. Each team member decided on what they would contribute in terms of the flow chart, low-fidelity prototype, CAD images of the prototype, pricing for the device and questions for the mentors.

February 2nd, 2019:

Design review feedback was considered as the team thought about how to improve the design of the DreamCatcher. As suggested by a mentor on the design review panel, there was a mutual decision to include a microphone in the device in order to give it the ability to record the lecture. In addition to this, a format for the test plan was laid out and expected inputs and outputs were considered as well as how the gyro-accelerometer was going to be used to measure the angular position of the head.

February 7th, 2019:

The tables for the test plan were formatted and finalized. They constituted different test scenarios with arbitrary values that would be expected from the sensor in that particular situation.

February 14th, 2019:

Preparations were made for the pitch proposal. Each team member was entrusted with discussing specific key points within the proposal. After a general script was produced and refined there were several group rehearsals in order to perfect the presentation.

February 28th, 2019:

Final details were added to the CAD models and the features of the python program were completed.
